Chaplaincy Health Care helps people complete their end-of-life journey in comfort and dignity, regardless of their ability to pay. Staffed with registered nurses, social workers, chaplains, and volunteers, the Chaplaincy guides, comforts, and cares for those experiencing serious illness, end of life, loss, and grief. The Chaplaincy began in 1971, incorporated in 1974, and accepted its first hospice patient in 1981. It serves Benton and Franklin counties and partners with hospice providers in Wallula and Burbank.

Chaplaincy Health Care Cork's Place Donor

Bechtel donated $2,000 in 2021 to help fund Cork's Place. Cork's Place is the only grief support facility in the Tri-Cities area that is specifically designed for children and teens, ages 3 to 17.

Chaplaincy Health Care Lighting the Path and Evening for Angels Sponsor

Bechtel has been a sponsor for Chaplaincy Health Care's annual fundraisers, donating more than $25,000 to Lighting the Path and Evening for Angels.

Chaplaincy Health Care Cork's Place Donor, Bechtel Women's Group

In 2006, the Bechtel Women's Group raised nearly $16,000 at its annual auction. The proceeds were donated to Kids Haven, the Children's Reading Foundation, Pet Overpopulation Prevention, and Cork's Place.
