Friends of Badger Mountain

Friends of Badger Mountain was formed in 2003 to preserve the area’s local ridges and scenic views and open spaces. The organization first raised money to purchase 574 acres of land that were for sale on the crest and slopes of Badger Mountain and keep it as open space. The Badger Mountain Centennial Preserve was created in 2005.
