Richland Riverfront Trail

The Richland Riverfront Trail is a seven-mile trail that starts at Columbia Point Marina Park in the south and ends at the USS Triton Submarine Memorial Park in the north. The trail links Howard Amon Park, Leslie Groves Park, and is at the edge of the campus of Washington State University Tri-Cities.

Richland Riverfront Trail Project Sponsor

In 2002, the Tri-Cities Visitor and Convention Bureau announced Bechtel's sponsorship of three legacy projects for three rivershore area. The Richland Riverfront Trail project involved landscaping almost a mile of new trailway on the Columbia River. The trailway connects Richland's Howard Amon Park with Columbia Point and allowed paved access to the Sacagawea Heritage Trail system.
